Leviathan!Cas makes me sad q__q

Dean watched in horror as Castiel’s head twitched this way and that, his friend’s fingers spazzing out by his side. He took a step forward, hand reaching out for Castiel’s shoulder, but he didn’t dare touch as the angel stilled.

“Cas?” Dean said quietly, licking his lips nervously. Castiel didn’t answer. Dean glanced over at Bobby, who shrugged slightly, his expression barely contained panic. Dean shared that feeling.

Taking a step forward, Dean was well within arms reach when Castiel’s head snapped up. Blue eyes locked with green, and that was when the hunter knew something was wrong.

Dean reached out to touch Castiel, but the angel suddenly gripped his wrist and flung him across the room. He hit the wall with a grunt, head cracking back against the tiles before he dropped forward, trying to catch himself on the tiny tray-stand, but only managing to cut himself on the surgical tools there as he slumped to the floor.

Dean’s vision was fuzzy as he looked up- just in time to see Castiel grip Bobby by the throat and hoisting him off the floor, flinging him away. The man hit the wall with a sickening crunch, much harder than Dean, and he was painfully aware of the fact that Bobby wasn’t moving after hitting the floor.

The hunter scrambled to try to get to his feet, but soon Castiel was gripping his jaw and slamming him back up against the wall. Dean’s vision swam. “Cas! What the fuck man, snap outta it!” Dean’s words were slurred, both from his swimming head and his friend’s hand digging into his skin.

“Sorry guy… your angel isn’t home anymore.” Castiel leaned in close, frenzied blue eyes searching Dean’s with some interest. Dean felt his chest freeze as his eyes widened. “Well,” Castiel continued, “he at least won’t be picking up the phone anymore. But we’re here to answer all calls.”

“No…” Dean said quietly, feeling a tear streak down his cheek. Castiel- or at least the thing walking around in his meatsuit- settled onto Dean’s lap with an amused grin.

“You know, we ate most of your angel, but there’s still this… buzzing in here.” The creature looked fascinated by Dean, eyes darting all over the hunter’s features. He began laughing. Castiel had never really laughed, but Dean knew that this was not how it was supposed to sound like.

“Funny, your little angel,” the thing shook Dean’s jaw and licked Castiel’s lips, moving closer to Dean’s face. “Your little Castiel wanted to do this for a long time now. Ironic, how things work out.”
